He needs to know someone would lay all their love on him.
He needs to know someone would give their all to him.
Tell him it’s just the two of them til the end.
But he’ll never admit that.
There are desires hidden in his heart,
You can see in a flicker of his eyes,
He wants to be wanted,
Only knows how to be needed.
He seeks loving from those who crave him,
Finding empty bottles where they go,
Taking a sip of the last few drops left in them.
He runs the other way when he realizes,
A broken fantasy hold him still.
One that he has created.
He leaves parts of himself in those bottles,
to rid himself from the inclination.
No more wants
No more heartaches
Only the echos of far-gone-love he’ll never know.
He learns to accepts the begging for his body.
Every nook and cranny they can touch.
His body is not his own.
Broken, empty marble with his likeness.
No one finds his lacking,
As no one wants something broken,
Except for the ones who don’t notice,
And all do not.
He learns to be passive with old friends,
Stone cold and disgusted with “almost lovers,”
But he means no harm.
His mask of menacing eyes and a judgemental grin.
It’s a show.
A scared boy behind a pair of icy blue eyes,
Growing in fear and resentment.
One day he will come back to life.
But so far, only writing seems to be on his mind to bring out his heart.
